EMT-Basic Refresher

Know How can provide the EMT-B DOT REFRESHER equivalent program, which addresses Kentucky EMT-B and National Registry Section One re-certification requirements. Our program covers the didactic and skill validation which is currently being required by Kentucky and National Registry for EMT-B renewal certification. Our program has three primary elements:

EMT-B (DOT Refresher) includes 16 hours of KBEMS-required education
8.0 hours of elective EMT-B education
Skill validation meeting requirements of KY Board of EMS & NREMT.

Your enrollment in Know-How the re-certification program allows:

Attendance at weekend programs
Attendance at evening programs
Attendance at day programs
Our organization will make available to you a minimum of two (2) DOT Refreshers or equivalent re-certification Programs; within your one (1) year re-certification contract with our organization.

Cost per student:

DOT EMT-B Refresher equivalent program (16 hours-specific and 8.0 hours of elective)
$100.00 per student per contract year

HIV Education Program
Additional CEU Hours required to maintain National Registry of EMT-B
